Scalp Micropigmentation
Scalp micropigmentation (SMP), also called a hair tattoo, uses small pigment dots on the scalp to create the appearance of hair follicles or closely cropped hair. Tell us whether you want to discuss your hairline, a thinning area or an overall short-hair look; the approach is assessed around your existing hair and scalp.
SMP changes appearance; it does not grow new hair or replace medical assessment of hair loss.
SMP is usually completed over 2–3 sessions, spaced 28 days apart, to build density and refine the result. Confirm the hours, total cost and appointment plan during consultation.

Before You Book
Does Wang Lei currently tattoo in Forest City?
No. Wang Lei tattoos at Lei Shi studios in mainland China and at the Tattlabs Gallery main studio in Johor Bahru; the Forest City studio handles consultations, design discussions, final approval and deposits (Monday to Saturday 12:00–18:00, closed Sunday, by appointment).
Is RM600 the price for the whole service?
No. SMP is priced at RM600 per hour. Estimated time varies with the area and plan, and is discussed when booking. This is not a fixed total price for the whole service.
How is SMP different from a hair transplant?
SMP creates the visual appearance of follicles with pigment dots. A hair transplant involves relocating hair follicles. SMP does not add real hair; discuss suitability before booking.
How long does it take and how many sessions are needed?

Yes. Under the Forest City opening offer, Wang Lei’s own tattoo sessions at the Tattlabs Gallery main studio in Bandar Jaya Putra, Johor Bahru are 10% off the original quote; resident artists are not included. Existing car-fare conditions still apply: a confirmed tattoo appointment and deposit are required, actual return-trip cross-border car fare can be credited up to S$200, and consultation-only or design-review-only visits are not eligible. SMP is excluded from both benefits and remains RM600 per hour. Confirm the final quote and credit arrangements when booking.

Booking from Singapore
Message us on WhatsApp with your tattoo idea, placement, approximate size and preferred dates. Confirm the design direction, available date and tattoo location before arranging your trip. The location is confirmed when booking. After a tattoo appointment is confirmed with a deposit, return-trip cross-border car fare can be credited towards the tattoo fee, up to S$200. Consultation-only visits are not eligible. Scalp micropigmentation (SMP) is excluded from the opening-offer tattoo discount and the Singapore return-trip cross-border car-fare credit.
