Pricing 价格透明
The quote is the whole price. At the Beijing flagship, a Lei Shi quote already includes the original design. There is no separate design fee, drawing fee or hidden extra. Across mainland China studios the design work is covered by your deposit. Your final price is confirmed in writing when you book and does not change before the session.
How we quote. Mainland China studios quote in Chinese yuan (CNY) by the artist's experience and the hours a piece needs. Malaysia quotes in ringgit (MYR). Wang Lei's worldwide bookings are a CNY day rate. Large pieces are done over several sittings and settled sitting by sitting.

Reference only, at mid-market rates on 23 October 2026. You pay in CNY in China and MYR in Malaysia; your card issuer sets the final conversion. Other experience tiers are quoted by the artist. Design only, without tattooing, is quoted separately by size and complexity (¥1,500–10,000).
Deposits. Mainland China: 20% of the quote, deducted from the balance, valid 6 months and transferable; once design has started, the deposit covers design time and is not refunded. Payment 付款方式
Card or mobile pay. The Beijing flagship has a card terminal for Visa and Mastercard, including overseas-issued single-currency cards, and takes WeChat Pay and Alipay (both can be linked to an overseas card). We do not accept foreign-currency cash; please pay by card or mobile pay.
Deposits from abroad. Pay your deposit remotely by WeChat transfer, Alipay, PayPal or bank transfer. The balance is settled at the studio after the session, by card or mobile pay.
Other studios: confirm payment options with the studio when you book. Malaysia settles in ringgit at Tattlabs Gallery.
Hygiene & Safety 安全与卫生
Single-use supplies, opened in front of you. Everything that touches your skin is single-use: needles, needle caps, ink cups, gloves, barrier film. Every client gets a fresh, sealed set and the artist opens it in front of you. The sterilisation area is open to view.
Before we start. Every client is ID-checked for 18+ (bring your passport) and we ask about your health and allergies. We do not tattoo during active skin conditions, clotting disorders, serious infectious disease, poorly controlled diabetes or active heart disease. Scars are tattooed once they are over a year old, stable and painless.
After. The Beijing flagship sends you home with an aftercare kit (wrap, repair balm, instructions, explained in your language). Your artist stays reachable while it heals. Surface healing takes 2–4 weeks, full colour settles in about 3 months, and at mainland China studios one free touch-up within a year of healing is included.
Language 语言沟通
Any language is welcome. The Beijing flagship team includes international artists and English-speaking artists. From your first message to the end of the session, an AI translation assistant supports every step, so design discussion, the signed confirmation form (available in English) and aftercare instructions are all handled in your language.

Your Day at the Studio 到店流程
Consult
Tell us the subject, placement, size and dates on WhatsApp, email or the online form. Consultation is free, remote or in person.
Design & quote
Your artist drafts the design. You receive a written quote: that figure is the whole price at the Beijing flagship.
Deposit
20% in mainland China, paid remotely by WeChat, Alipay, PayPal or bank transfer. Your date is held.
Session day
Sleep well, eat before you come, wear loose clothes, skip alcohol and caffeine, bring your passport. A sitting is usually 4–5 hours, never more than 6. One friend may sit with you.
Aftercare kit
You leave with the kit and instructions in your language. Large pieces continue over further sittings, settled one at a time.
Healing & touch-up
Your artist stays reachable while it heals. One free touch-up within a year at mainland studios. Healed photos of past work are on the works page.
Reviews. The Beijing flagship holds a 4.7-star rating on Dianping with over 5,600 saves; Tattlabs Gallery in Johor Bahru is reviewed on Google Maps. International clients have recorded video reviews for us; ask on WhatsApp and we will send them.
Getting Here & Staying 到店与住宿
BEIJING FLAGSHIP · 北京总店
Compound No. 31, Baiziwan, Chaoyang District, Beijing （朝阳区百子湾 31 号院，雷势文化）. Show the Chinese address to your driver or paste it into your ride app. The directions page has a taxi card in six languages, six photo steps from the compound gate to our door, map links and a PDF to keep on your phone.
- Metro: Jiulongshan 九龙山 (Lines 7 and 14) or Shuangjing 双井 (Lines 7 and 10).
- Airports: about 28 km by taxi from Beijing Capital (PEK), about 55 km from Beijing Daxing (PKX). Fares and times swing a lot with traffic, so trust the live estimate in your ride app rather than any fixed number.
- Hotel we recommend: Renaissance Beijing Capital Hotel （北京富力万丽酒店）, a short taxi ride from the studio near Shuangjing.
